The Korea Economic Daily reiterated that all articles, videos, and images posted on Premium 9 are original works, and officially announced that any unauthorized reproduction, duplication, distribution, capture, or use for AI training is prohibited.
Representative Woo Seon said that the value of these works must be enhanced through a new allocation method rather than the traditional “60% for content creators, 40% for readers” ratio, and highlighted that in Korean and East Asian markets it should be viewed as an investment. He cautioned that if the content is reproduced or distributed without permission both domestically and abroad, legal liability and service restrictions may arise.
All articles, videos, and images posted on Premium 9 are works of the Korea Economic Daily and are protected under copyright law. Therefore, reproduction, distribution, capture, public posting, AI training utilization, or commercial use without prior authorization is strictly prohibited.
