From October 20 to 23, the United States' leading firms will publish their earnings per share (EPS). Netflix, Meta (the metaverse platform), Tesla and 21 other major large-cap companies will report results this week, and investors are closely watching which ones will beat expectations.

October 21 is particularly busy: only eight stocks will release results that day, with Meta expected to post an EPS of $5.79, Tesla $0.44, IBM $2.89, Texas Instruments (a tech firm) $2.44, EliVerne Health $4.73, AT&T $0.61, Thermophisher $6.47 and Danaher $1.94.

This schedule also affects the Korean market. When U.S. firms disclose results, domestic investors reassess demand for related industries such as Bitcoin and electric cars; they adjust order forecasts for companies like Samsung Electronics or SK Hynix that are part of the supply chain. Companies with digital assets similar to Tesla may reveal performance and share price reactions in line with their valuation.

According to a calendar provided by Finnhub, the October 20‑23 schedule is set. Investors will use this timetable to adjust market moves, comparing results to forecasts and predicting reactions such as “earnings surprise” or “earnings shock.” This week is expected to be one of the busiest for U.S. large-cap earnings releases.
