Bithumb holds inauguration ceremony for the 1st Somes Up Supporters

Bithumb recently announced that it held an inauguration ceremony for the first college student support group ‘Thumbs Up’. This event was held at the Bithumb Customer Center located in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 29th, and the event was attended by Bithumb officials as well as the first Some's Up members. Prior to this, for about two weeks starting from December 13 last year, Bithumb recruited applicants from college students interested in creating content related to virtual asset exchanges and services, and selected a total of 20 people.

The selected Somes Up supporters will propose ideas for improving the Bithumb Exchange for a total of three months until April 29th, and will produce SNS content containing exchange services and company introductions. Bithumb expects participants to come up with creative and innovative ideas through this event, and in the process, Bithumb also plans to improve its services by collecting various opinions and ideas.

In addition, Bithumb plans to award prize money to outstanding teams and top performers among ‘Some’s Up’ supporters. The prize money was set at 5 million won for the active team and 2 million won for the top performers, and Bithumb plans to provide experiential interns or Bithumb ambassador opportunities for top performers. Through this, we provide participants with rewards for their passionate activities and at the same time provide better opportunities to unleash their potential.

Kim Young-jin, general manager of Bithumb management support, said, “I think the open perspective and untethered attitude of Bithumb college student supporters will have a positive impact on Bithumb and the blockchain industry.” He added, “Somes Up Supporters and Bithumb will work together to carry out positive activities.” “I hope we can make it happen,” he said. Bithumb seeks to contribute to the improvement of the blockchain industry and services by actively accepting the participation and creative ideas of college students through Thumbs Up.
