Korbit ensures safe virtual currency transactions by introducing Naver certificate
On the 31st, Korbit, a virtual currency exchange, announced that it had introduced ‘Naver Certificate’ for safe and easy transactions. This service is a certificate that provides identity verification and electronic signatures to Naver members. Korbit introduced the Shinhan certificate last year and has been using it for identity verification and multiple authentication for deposit and withdrawal purposes. However, customer convenience can be improved by additionally introducing Naver certificate.
Additionally, to commemorate this, Korbit plans to hold an event until the 18th of next month. In this event, 400 customers who used Naver certificates and traded virtual assets worth more than 100,000 won will be drawn and each will receive 5,000 won points. This can be said to be Korbit's effort to provide more benefits to customers.
Lee Jeong-woo, Korbit's chief technology officer, said, "By additionally introducing Naver certificates, customers can now make more diverse choices in situations where identity verification is required, such as depositing Korean won or increasing limits." Through this, it is expected that Korbit will continue to introduce various services to increase customer satisfaction.
In addition, Korbit adjusted the existing won deposit limit in accordance with virtual currency regulations. Accordingly, the won deposit limit, which was previously 300,000 won and 1.5 million won (limit account), was increased to 5 million won (limit account), further improving the convenience of customers investing in virtual assets. Through these efforts, Korbit shows that it continues to strive to provide a better trading environment for its customers.
