Researcher Choi Kwan-sun said that 'Samsung Mould' had projected a dividend per share of 30 trillion won for the third quarter, while the first-half's dividend pool was 4900 billion won, indicating a large increase in the dividend amount. He also pointed out that the DPS of Samsung Mould that rose in the third quarter is a key factor that will bring DPS to 8,550 won this year, and explained that including that, related companies' dividend income is expected to be 2 trillion won.
As the expansion of share buyback becomes more apparent, it is expected that the stock price may rise. The researcher said 'Samsung Mould holds a 19·34% ownership in Samsung Life (probably a subsidiary), while the mid-term target for share buyback yield is 50%, there is no specific mention regarding special dividend; he added that if a special dividend were to be paid again, related companies' dividend income would also increase.
