(Seoul=Yonhap) As of October 9, the U.S. forecast market Calcs reported that Bitcoin’s probability of reaching $12,000 by year‑end is 30%, a decline of 9 percentage points from yesterday. The high price point of $12,000 remains at a 9% chance.

Ethereum also has a 19% probability of hitting $3,500 by year‑end, down 8 percentage points from the previous day; XRP’s probability of reaching $2,000 rose to 4%, now standing at 40%. Bitcoin’s outlook had shown large swings last week, rising from 14% on August 10 to 43% on September 22 before settling around 30%.

Bitcoin’s chance of hitting $8,750 by year‑end is 48%; if the price rises 7.1% from current levels it could reach that target. The probability of reaching $9,000 is about 34%.

In Ethereum’s case, the probability of hitting $3,000 by year‑end is 12%, and XRP’s chance of reaching $1,600 is 32%, its highest likelihood.

The virtual currency market continues with similar trends; Bitcoin traded at $81,681, down 1.84% from the previous day. Ethereum trades at $2,474, and XRP at $1.38.
