Seoul Station branch newly introduced ‘Ottugi Yeotnal Japchae’ and ‘Ottugi Yeotnal Maekkeom Japchae’, which gained popularity among foreign tourists; traditional design packaging captured ramen market. Lotte Mart & Super sold both flavors exclusively on Feb 2, launching ‘Ottugi Yeotnal Japchae K‑Original Edition (4 servings)’ and ‘Ottugi Yeotnal Maekkeom Japchae K‑Original Edition (4 servings)’ at JetaFlex Seoul Station branch. Both products in packaging featuring traditional motifs attract foreign customers.
Sales analysis from Seoul Station branch shows that since 2025 until October this year, Ottugi Yeotnal Japchae and Ottugi Yeotnal Maekkeom Japchae ranked third and fifth respectively among all ramen product groups. Particularly, Ottugi Yeotnal Japchae with soft beef aroma and ingredients such as broccoli, carrot, green onion etc can be cooked in 5 minutes; foreigners quickly eat and purchase conveniently. Meanwhile, Ottugi Yeotnal Maekkeom Japchae adds spicy flavor with oil, making it a tasty ramen for foreigners.
Lotte Mart & Super analyze foreign customers' tastes and shopping patterns, continually strengthening exclusive product line. For example, the ‘Paldor & Yangban Myukguk Ramen’ launched in Nov 2024 reached top sales rank 1 at JetaFlex Seoul Station and Busan Gwangbok branch among 10 specialized foreign outlets. On 29th last month, they also introduced ‘Ottugi Gulmeok Ramen’, adding new flavors with winter season and red pepper etc to provide new taste experience.
