eBay held the “2026 Korea Seller Bootcamp” on the 16th at Seoul’s Yongsan Naitri Premiere Hotel, announcing a comprehensive support plan to accelerate the overseas expansion of domestic sellers. About 150 participants—including eBay CBT Korea Business Headquarters President Yoo Chang-mo, key executives, top sellers and new participants, as well as partners—attended the event and shared their experiences and strategies.

During the ceremony, the headquarters president said that Korean sellers are continuing a growth trajectory in the fourth quarter of 2024 into the seventh quarter, reflecting trends with updated tariff and customs regulations in the global market. He emphasized that eBay will provide practical support by expanding overseas sales and strengthening category‑specific consulting. In particular, he highlighted “overseas sales” and “category‑specific consulting” as core drivers of Korean sellers’ growth.

Top sellers participated in sessions where they introduced their experiences and strategies for entering foreign markets via eBay, sharing practical know‑how on responding to tariff and customs changes, overseas consumer engagement, and country‑by‑country tactics. Through this, sellers can anticipate and respond to rapid market shifts with a solid foundation.

eBay also announced plans to introduce new services such as “eBay Live” and the logistics‑efficiency tool “SpeedPack.” eBay Live is a real‑time live commerce platform that allows sellers to showcase products and brands in real time and interact directly with consumers. SpeedPack automates inventory management and shipping processes, aiming to reduce costs and shorten turnaround times.

Oka Damasuyki, eBay CBT Japan and Korea regional managing director, said he will continue expanding services such as eBay Live and SpeedPack so that sellers can enhance their competitiveness and operational efficiency. He promised further support programs in the future. eBay’s announcement is expected to become a practical catalyst for Korean sellers’ global growth.
