According to the market, Satoshi Note™ provides a daily series that analyzes top traders’ positions using on‑chain data updated hourly. As of October 28 at 7:38 AM, it calculated the 24‑hour performance of four exchanges—Hyperliquid, Lighter, dYdX, and PassiPika—and estimated only the total value of the top 100 positions. The result showed that the long side rose about 74% today while the short side stayed at around 26%.
This figure is a large increase from yesterday’s 12%, with the long side totaling roughly $942 million, and the short side about $335 million—about 2.8 times higher than the previous day.
At the same time, Bitcoin (BTC) traded between $79 712 and $89 912, a 1.5% increase, while Ethereum (ETH) moved from $2 309 to $2 350, up 1.8%. Zcash (ZEC) went from $1 237 to $1 311, up 6.0%, and Hyperliquid (HYPE) rose from $77.70 to $81.30, a 4.6% gain. The movements of the top positions coincided with price changes for each asset.
For the 7‑day and 30‑day groups, the long side recorded roughly $368 million (about 10%) and $342 million (about 91%) respectively. The short side hovered around 90–91% with little change. Yesterday’s 9% (long $324 million; short $311 million) saw the long side grow by $44 million, while the short side increased by $59 million. Profit versus loss shifted from about $38 million profit to a $21 million loss, and in the 7‑day group the top positions changed little but there was still a difference in values.
For BTC, the long side in the 24‑hour group was at 82% with 151 longs and 53 shorts; it totaled about $339 million for longs and $73 million for shorts. Yesterday’s same group had a long of 92%, with 69 longs and 139 shorts. The 7‑day and 30‑day groups recorded similar proportions, while the short side stayed at 90–91%.

As shown above, predicting market moves from top traders’ positions is difficult; in reality the positions directly influence prices. Satoshi Note was created to provide information based on public on‑chain data, but investors bear full responsibility and judgment.
